Carolyn Malachi’s “BEAUTIFUL DREAMER” is an inspiring account of overcoming incredible odds and living a passionate life. The stylish video features the point of view of Niya Bell, a nine-year-old genius who escapes to a mystical wood after being bullied by her peers; and grown-up dreamers who work, live, and thrive in the real world. Niya and the dreamers’ stories intertwine to reveal that a little encouragement and lots of faith can go a very long way.
Beanie Sigel may be heading back to the bing. The Philadelphia lyricist admitted in court yesterday that he failed to pay taxes from 2003-2005.
According to the Associated Press, B. Mack appeared in federal court in his hometown on Tuesday where he entered a guilty plea. He is being accused of owing the government $350,000 of an estimated $1 million that U.S. prosecuters say he did not report.
Beans will be sentenced on November 18. He faces up to three years in jail.
If convicted, this will not be the first time the former Roc-A-Fella artist has served time behind bars. In 2004 he spent a year in jail for drug and weapons charges and in 2008 a judge ordered him back to prison for violating his probation after failing a drug test.

DJ Pauly D of the MTV hit show Jersey Shore is definitely seeing his hard work pay off these days.
The reality TV star is not only the opening act for Britney Spears’s Femme Fatale tour alongside Nicki Minaj, his pending three-album deal with 50 Cent’s G-Unit powerhouse, which will also allegedly include the release of a Pauly D-branded headphones, should be finalized very soon, the disc jockey tells XXL.
“I would say the end of the year,” Pauly says about when the deal will be sealed.
When asked how he and 50 first came together, Pauly says, “50 cent has also been somebody I look up to. We ended up linking up and we just clicked. We hit it off immediately with the music and everything like that. So, I’m definitely gonna be working with him. There’s been talks about the album and the headphones. I’m looking forward to working with that as well.”
Pauly D also has a spin-off show scheduled to premiere soon on MTV, which will chronicle his DJing career. —Mariel Concepcion

3. The Neptunes
With apologies to Jay-Z’s new-age Big Apple anthem (too regional), the ‘Tunes manned the boards behind the Brooklyn boy’s most beloved cut, “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me).” Bad broads, mean-mugging thugs and multi-colored drinks spill onto the dance floor whenever this track comes on. Over Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams’ spry synths, snare kicks and tingly chords, Hov speaks gospel to the Virgina Beach duo’s work: “Get you bling like the Neptunes’ sound.” Although it was a sound that was ubiquitous–from Britney Spears to Busta Rhymes–it was never recycled for the Jigga Man. “Excuse Me Miss,” with its slow, sweeping progressions sounds nothing like the b-boy meets d-boy composition that’s “Blue Magic.” The curtain behind Pharrell and Jay’s chemistry was pulled back in “Fade To Black,” where an excited P tells the MC he has a beat that’ll be his own “Carlito’s Way.” All Shawn Corey Carter did after that was spin a theatrical tale that detailed the consequences every Charli Baltimore faces when dealing with a dealer for a boyfriend and the thrill he himself had of riding in former friend Klein’s green 5. The song was Scorsese-esque. That’s also an apt way to describe their collaborations, reflecting the famed director’s work: classical, innovative and timeless.
